The Launch of Digital Campaign on “Education Saves Lives”

On Thursday, 1st of September 2022, the FHI 360 Global Fund NAHI project, alongside consortium of partners working on education, health, and gender equality, participated in the launch of a social media campaign on ‘Education Saves Lives’ facilitated by UNESCO and UNFPA in close collaboration with the Federal Ministries of Education and Health. ‘Education Saves Lives’ social media campaign aims to empower young people to prevent new HIV infections, early and unintended pregnancies, reduce gender-based violence (GBV) including in and around school, and improve access to education for all.

The campaign launched simultaneously in all the 23 West and Central Africa (WCA) member countries and flagged off in Nigeria at the United Nations House, Garki District, Abuja. Scheduled and designated campaign messages on comprehensive education and information will be rolled out daily on our social media platforms.
