A SPEED SUCCESS STORY

We are excited to announce the successful completion of the FHI 360 Data Visualization & Machine Learning Training for the SPEED Project!
The comprehensive 5-day training in data visualization and machine learning, held from January 29th to February 2nd, 2024, in Lagos, brought together 50 professionals from FHI 360, ECEWS, ARFH Nigeria, Howard University, and the State Ministry of Health.
Participants gained practical skills and knowledge for effectively visualizing and communicating data insights, along with an introduction to machine learning and its applications in Public Health programming.

The impact was remarkable!  Participants showed notable improvements in comprehension, as evidenced by enhanced pre-test and post-test scores.

Training Group Sessions

Participants are now equipped with skills and knowledge and are ready to:

  1. Implement structured data analysis plans for “Getting the Data Right” initiative.
  2.  Utilize tools like Power BI and GIS to develop performance dashboards for SPEED project.
  3.  Effectively communicate data insights in meetings.
  4.  Collaborate with peers to share best practices and stay updated on latest trends in data visualization and machine learning, with a focus on improving IIT within the SPEED project.
