Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of the Mambilla Plateau, Gembu is a place where tradition meets modernity, and resilience defines its people. <br><br> The people of Gembu are known for their warmth, hospitality, and rich cultural heritage. Despite facing challenges, they embrace life with unity and determination. activities.<\/p><p>To celebrate International Women&#8217;s Day on 8th March 2024, the community of Gembu came together in a spirit of unity and the community.<\/p><p>The day began with a road walk to raise awareness about women&#8217;s rights and the importance of celebrating women. Community members, dignitaries, and partners joined hands to promote gender equality and social cohesion.<\/p><p>Educational sessions on menstrual hygiene, reproductive health, and gender-based violence highlighted the critical need for women&#8217;s empowerment and access to healthcare services.
