A meeting held in the Office of the Director, Department of Family Health on Wednesday 29th<\/sup> September 2021. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss areas of collaboration and opportunities especially for strengthening generation and utilization of evidence to increase access to voluntary family planning and improve healthy timing and spacing of births. The consultation involved both teams discussing areas where research can answer priority implementation science questions about family planning, self-care, and provision of technical assistance to build capacity for data analysis, evidence synthesis, and adoption of evidence-based practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In attendance were: Dr. Salma Anas Kolo (Director DFH), Dr. Hadiza Khamofu\u00a0 (Acting Country Director, FHI360), Dr. Kayode Afolabi, and key team members within the Department of Family Health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FHI360 is a long-standing leader in the Nigerian Reproductive Health space and remains committed to supporting the FMOH in achieving its RH\/FP goals in Nigeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
