Background<\/h2>

The Global Fund supported and FHI 360 implemented National\u00a0Aligned HIV & AIDS Initiative (NAHI) Grant is supporting HIV prevention, treatment and care programs targeting the General & Key Populations in 17 Nigerian States. One of the interventions to deliver priority services to key populations is through the One Stop Shop (OSS).<\/p>

Locations of operation<\/b><\/p>

  • 19+1 states \u2013 the grant geographical coverage and key intervention areas:<\/p>

    • Anti Retroviral Therapy (ART) intervention in 2 states: Anambra & Ebonyi<\/li>
    • Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) intervention in 3 states: Abia, Taraba & Anambra<\/li>
    • Key Population (KP) intervention in 13 states: Oyo, Kaduna, Kano, Gombe, Edo, Abia, Imo, Taraba, Anambra, Kwara, Plateau & Ebonyi)<\/li>
    • Gap filling Harm Reduction intervention in 7 states: FCT, Nasarawa, Benue, Cross River, Akwa-Ibom, Rivers & Lagos<\/li><\/ul>

      Objectives<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/div>

      Attain and maintain HIV epidemic control among at-risk adult men, women and priority populations<\/p><\/div>

      Attain and maintain HIV epidemic control among key populations<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

      Improve program management, health information systems, human resources for health and HIV financing solutions to attain and maintain epidemic control<\/p><\/div>

      Support the transition of direct funding and implementation to capable local partners to meet PEPFAR\u2019s goal of providing 70 percent of its funding to local partners by 2020<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

      Scope\/technical strategy<\/b><\/h3>
      • Optimization of services uptake at site-level (HTS, SNT\/PNT, Linkage to Care, Initiation on ART, PMTCT, TB\/HIV and ART).<\/li>
      • Optimization of HIV care cascades and clinical management processes for improved treatment outcomes (e.g. TB screening, TB\/HIV Management, EID and Viral Load Monitoring and use of the results in clinical decision making)<\/li>
      • Optimization of defaulter client tracking and retention on HIV Care and treatment for both the general population and KPs.<\/li>
      • Gap filling for harm reduction in seven states currently supported by PEPFAR ( PAAR)<\/li>
